The mission of the Port Aransas Community Theatre (PACT) is to entertain, inform, and educate, thereby enriching the cultural life of the Texas Coastal Bend area. PACT shall provide area residents and visitors the opportunity to attend and participate in quality live performances of a cross-section of the finest theatrical works available. PACT shall provide education in the theatre arts to adults, young adults and children. In meeting these goals, PACT shall be mindful of the standards of its audiences and shall maintain fiscally sound management.
Description
The Great American Trailer Park Musical is a comedic, country-rock musical set in Florida’s "Armadillo Acres," where stripper-on-the-run Pippi causes chaos between agoraphobic housewife Jeannie and her tollbooth-collector husband, Norbert. The plot revolves around love, infidelity, and the eccentric lives of the park's residents
