Description

The long-running off-Broadway hit brings the quirky town of Tuna, Texas to life as two actors portray the entire population in a tour-de-force of quick-change artistry, switching costumes and characters faster than a jackrabbit outruns a coyote.

Starring Nick Coman and Rick Isenberg, and directed by Stephen Laster and Evan Hart, this high-energy comedy features two actors playing 20 unforgettable characters in a barrel of laughs that is truly Texas-sized fun for everyone.

Originally produced in 1981 in Austin, Texas by its authors Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard, Greater Tuna opened off-Broadway one year later and ran for over a year. It went on to tour major theaters across the country and internationally for more than three decades, becoming one of the most produced plays in American theatre history. The show was even performed at the White House for President George and Barbara Bush.
