Join the Head Chef of Nostos in Hove to make a trio of Greek dishes which you can then recreate at home for your family and friends to enjoy. These classic mezze small plates showcase the best of seasonal produce for summer.

Your menu will typically include:

  • Kolokithokeftedes - courgette fritters with avocado tzatziki
  • Gigantes - butter beans stewed in a rich tomato sauce
  • Filo feta nests drizzled with honey and sesame seeds

You will work in pairs as Alex shares his knowledge, professional flavour combinations and chef's cooking techniques and tips. At the end of this class, you’ll enjoy a delicious meal together and go away with full recipes to replicate the dishes at home.

About Nostos

Nostos in Hove is an award-winning Greek restaurant, serving authentic and modern dishes in a stylish and welcoming restaurant. Since opening Nostos has become recognised, locally and nationally. In 2022 they were voted second best international restaurant in the Brighton Restaurant Awards (BRAVOs). They were also voted as best takeaway of the year by readers of the local paper, The Argus. Alexandros Tzimos is the Head Chef & co-owner at Nostos restaurant in Brighton. Previously and while in Greece, Alexandros both owned and ran different successful businesses in the hospitality industry. "Cooking with your memories and all your senses, sparks creativity and the food becomes tastier... I enjoy taking old traditional recipes/memories, deconstructing them and creating something new."

Dietary information: This menu for this class is vegetarian and can be adapted for vegan diets, but this must be specified when booking. The menu also includes cooking with seeds. For any other allergies or dietary requirements, please contact us to discuss before booking.
