Join Bridger Hahn of Full Moon Blooms CB and Kathryn Waple with Gray Cat Botanicals to learn how to start seeds and grow your own medicinal herb and cutting flower garden! These fabulous women love gardening and are excited to share what they have learned over the last twenty years of tending their home garden landscapes. You will leave the workshop inspired, empowered and motivated by the possibilities for connection with nature in your own garden.
Topics covered Include the basics of soil blocking as a method of starting seeds, site selection, and several different styles of backyard gardening, including in ground container and raised bed. Gardening techniques will include best practices for soil health, as well as determining and building soil health through amendments and an overview of vermiculture.
Participants will learn the basics of harvesting both medicinal herbs and cut flowers, and will take home established soil-blocked seedlings to inspire their own garden and use of medicinal herbs. Starts of a variety of plants will also be available to purchase. We will provide nourishing herbal infusions to enjoy during the class.

Kathryn Waple is the owner and founder of Gray Cat Botanicals. She grows medicinal plants using organic and regenerative methods to make whole herb extracts using simple and safe ingredients. She also teaches classes on how to incorporate medicinal and food like herbs into your lifestyle for the whole family.
Bridger Hahn is the founder, owner and grower of Full Moon Blooms CB. She is committed to growing beautiful flowers while regenerating and healing the soil through organic and best practices.
