Growing Mushrooms at Home

October 16, 2-4 pm


Interested in growing mushrooms at home? Register for this short course and learn to prepare and inoculate the substrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and harvest these healthy fungi. The instructor will also discuss potential reasons for past ‘crop’ failures and varieties of substrates (including items from your recycling bin). A portion of the program will focus on the role of fungi in the natural world.
