Description

Grand Rapids Symphonic Band Concert - Brass, Steam & Song

Mark your calendar for an afternoon that travels from the mechanical wonder of Steampunk Suite to the epic scope of Beowulf and the nostalgic charm of Old Home Days Suite. The program also showcases a newly commissioned Trombone Solo by Chris Hass titled Voyage to the Light, featuring Dr. Cole Bartels, Trombone Professor at CMU. It's a concert that moves between invention, legend, and melody - brass and story in equal measure.
