As the sun begins its descent over the serene landscape of Bear Lake Reserve, join us for a breathtaking guided hike along the tranquil trails leading to the majestic ridge. Nestled amidst the lush forest and rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Bear Lake Reserve offers the perfect setting for a memorable sunset experience.
Our journey will begin at the Greeter's cottage, where you'll be warmly greeted by our knowledgeable guides. With a passion for the local environment, our guide will provide insights into the area's rich biodiversity and fascinating history.
Embark on a moderate to strenuous 2-mile hike through woodlands and along pristine streams. The trail, chosen for its picturesque views and manageable terrain, meanders gently towards the ridge, offering glimpses of native wildlife and colorful wildflowers along the way.
As we ascend to the ridge, anticipation builds for the main event: the sunset. The panoramic vista from the ridge provides uninterrupted views of Bear Lake and the surrounding peaks, creating a dramatic backdrop for the evening's natural spectacle.
