Share Established in 1992, the GYMC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to education, enrichment, and fostering the development of youth through music and the arts. The unique facility officially opened its doors in September 2001 after six years of renovations. The GYMC is an exciting cultural hub for children of all ages and backgrounds in the community. Please join us on Saturday, December 16 for the Guelph Youth Music Centre's String Orchestra Winter Concert held in the GYMC Recital Hall. The orchestras have prepared an exciting program of Abba, Tchaikovsky, classic holiday music, and much more! Due to the growth of the ensemble, the orchestras will hold two afternoon concerts to accommodate all family and friends. Performances will take place at 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Tickets are "pay as you wish" with a suggested donation of $10 per person. A short reception with refreshments will be held in the upper foyer following each concert.
