Description
A Hadar Song Circle
As the days grow shorter, say the Rabbis, Adam looked at the dimming sky and feared the worst: that the world was unraveling, and that it was his fault. So he fasted, prayed, and waited in the dark. Then the light began to return. What he'd mistaken for catastrophe was just the rhythm of the world, a turning rather than an ending. In that moment, the Sages tell us, he turned his fear into celebration. Join us for an evening of singing that follows that same arc, moving us from the narrows of darkness to the expansive, celebratory warmth of the light. No experience needed, just bring your voice (or your willingness to hum along). Featuring Rabbi Ariel Wolpe, Drew Cohen, Ori Salzberg, Rebekka Goldsmith, and The Temple’s Cantor Tracey Scher with Rhythm & Ruach.
