The evening kicks off at 6:30 PM with drinks and food on the terrace, and a chance to connect before the learning begins. At 7:15 PM we'll have arvit, followed by the chance to join in on classes for the community from 7:30–8:45 PM including:
Nigunim with R. Deborah Sacks Mintz - gather for heart-opening song
Talmud with R. Ethan Tucker - study gemara in the original
Discovering a Dynamic Relationship with God in Sefat Emet with R. Aviva Richman and R. Miriam-Simma - explore how to cultivate a relationship with the Divine that is at once powerful and mutual, nourishing and creative.
You Are What You Speak - The Torah of Language with R. Dena Weiss - learn about three core areas of speech: gossip and Lashon Hara (what is it, and is it really that bad?), telling the truth (is it even required?), and prayer (is it supposed to be effective?)
Come for a night of thoughtful learning, good conversation, and the chance to meet new people!
