Duo Lumiere: Flute and Percussion
“The night” has been a source of inspiration for artists of all mediums for millenia, from Chopin’s famous Nocturnes to Van Gogh’s Starry Night. Duo Lumiere has curated a program that explores the night in its many facets: the dazzling colors and swirls of our universe in Night Music (inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night), what it feels like to dream in Aaron Jay Kernis’s Lullaby, to the romantic and fiery life of night in Histoire du Tango. Join us on Sunday, September 28th at Honey Acres Music Center and delight in the spirit of the night.
