2000 Northwest Market StreetThis youth-focused class emphasizes the importance of play! Participants will construct their own puppets using found materials such as felt, fabric, paint, googly eyes, bottle caps, paper, and more!
With the guidance of Push/Pull's Resident Puppetmaker, Maxx FG, puppetmakers-in-training will use critical thinking skills to dream up their own character and select the right materials to bring it to life.
All materials are provided. This class is suitable for students ages 8 through 13.
Maxx has been leading the youth program at Push/Pull since its creation in 2016 and has proudly assisted many students to create their own puppets. Puppets can be a way to let our imaginations so wild, to express part of ourselves, or to explore possibilities with materials and basic construction.
