Handbell Young Ringers Festival
Registration for the Young Ringers Festival is now OPEN 


Young Ringers Festival (8th grade and younger): Saturday, March 9, 2024

This event will include a mass ring performance, led by director Alex Guebert, and a combined handbell concert featuring your ensemble as well as Concordia's top handbell ensembles. The intention of this festival is to learn from experienced clinicians, experience the greater handbell community, and perform for an audience of handbell fans in our beautiful concert hall. Adjudication options available at no additional cost. 

For those of you who have attended our festivals in the past, I welcome you to join us again! And if you have never attended a CUI festival, please let me know if you would like to attend this special event, and I would be glad to walk you through the details. Erik.der@cui.edu

Some important info: 

- Date: Saturday, March 9, 2023

- Mass Ring Repertoire: Bwana Awabiriki by susan Nelson 

- Time: The Concert will be at 4:00pm with time for warmups, adjudication, and the rehearsal of the mass ring piece earlier in the day. Once registration closes, I will contact you to confirm an appropriate arrival and warm up time earlier in the day. 

- Lunch: Optional lunch can be made available ($10 per person)

- Registration Fee: $100 per school

Location:  Concordia University Irvine Center for Worship and Performing Arts (CU Center).
Parking and Walking: Please park in the main lot (parking is free), then walk down the hill to the CU Center
