Handbell Young Ringers Festival Registration


Young Ringers Festival (8th grade and younger): Saturday, March 07, 2026

This event will include a mass ring performance and a combined handbell concert featuring your ensemble as well as Concordia's top handbell ensembles. The intention of this festival is to learn from experienced clinicians, experience the greater handbell community, and perform for an audience of handbell fans in our beautiful music building Adjudication options available at no additional cost. 

For those of you who have attended our festivals in the past, I welcome you to join us again! And if you have never attended a CUI festival, please let me know if you would like to attend this special event, and I would be glad to walk you through the details. Erik.der@cui.edu

Some important info: 

- Date: Saturday, March 07, 2026

- Mass Ring Repertoire: Our faculty is working on a special new piece just for this event! It will be accessible for ensembles of all skill levels with little to no preparation. 

- Time: The Concert will be at 4:00pm with time for warmups, adjudication, and the rehearsal of the mass ring piece earlier in the day. Once registration closes, I will contact you to confirm an appropriate arrival and warm up time earlier in the day. While our performing arts center is under construction, all events will take place in our music building's orchestra hall. Depending on the number of registrants, we may need to split the day into multiple smaller concerts. 

- Lunch: Optional lunch can be made available ($11 per person)

- Registration Fee: $90 per school or organization

Location:  Borland Manske Center
Parking and Walking: Please park in the main lot (parking is free), then walk down the hill to the BMC Music Building
