Description
Join artist Diane Garmire in this one of a kind workshop where participants will learn on two levels. Watercolor techniques will be explored: wash, wet into wet, wash with salt, wash resists, wash with alcohol and washes with black ink. In the final class, students will gather and assemble their watercolor papers into beautiful stab bound books or journals.
These journals can be finished by each artist as a place to collect and write poetry, add painted imagery over the washes, add ink drawings or just to appreciate as a reminder of the variety of techniques artists can create through the lovely medium of watercolor.
