In this class, you'll discover the fundamentals of working with yeast dough, including mixing, kneading, fermentation, shaping, and baking techniques that produce a light, airy crumb and a beautifully golden crust. You'll learn how to properly stretch and dimple the dough, incorporate flavorful toppings, and achieve the signature texture that makes focaccia a favorite around the world.
Along the way, we'll discuss the science of bread baking, tips for successful dough handling, and creative variations you can make at home. Whether you're new to bread making or looking to expand your baking skills, this class will give you the confidence to create bakery-quality focaccia in your own kitchen.

What To Expect
Instructor: No Thyme To Cook Lead Chef Instructor
Length: Approximately 3 hours.
Format: Hands-On: Cook alongside the Chef as you follow step-by-step instructions to create your own dishes. The Chef is there as your instructor, guiding you through techniques and answering any questions along the way.
Location: First floor.
Restrictions: Ages 16 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
All students will receive 10% off any scheduled public class(es) purchased that evening.
