Hanging with the Highlands – A Gentle Giant Encounter
Step into the pasture and meet the stars of the farm—our majestic Highland cows! “Hanging with the Highlands” is a unique, up-close experience that lets you interact with one of the ranch's most beloved and photogenic animals. Known for their shaggy coats, long horns, and calm demeanor, our Highlands are friendly, curious, and love a good scratch behind the ears.
During this experience, you’ll:
- Meet and learn about our Highland cows in a relaxed, safe environment
- Feed them their favorite treats (provided)
- Snap unforgettable photos up-close or with our Highland selfie frame
- Learn fun facts about the breed and their personalities from one of our knowledgeable team members
After spending 1 hour with our Highland Cattle, you will be able to enjoy a 1 hour self-guided, walking farm tour to experience the rest of the farm and meet our other animals.
Duration: 2 hours
Location: Queen’s Landing Pasture at Sweet Valley Ranch
Ages: All ages welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult)
What to Bring: Closed-toe shoes, a camera, and your sense of wonder!
IMPORTANT: Please note this is a direct-contact animal encounter. Guests will enter the pasture under staff supervision. No outside food allowed. Weather-permitting. All tickets are non-refundable.
