The musical fable is retold as a Louisiana Creole Tale with swampland and backwoods characters and situations drawn from our home state’s heritage--instead of being baked into gingerbread cookies by the wicked old witch, our children are in danger of being cooked up in a big kettle of steaming seafood gumbo.
