10:00am-12:00pm. Session I & II,, featuring master teacher, Adelle Glass, and saxophone artist, Dr. Chika Inoue with students from Plaza Vista School
12:00 LUNCH (lasagna, penne pasta, caesar salad)
1:00-3:10 Sessions III & IV, featuring Dr. Jeff Held and the Concordia Wind Orchestra with musicians from Plaza Vista School and Dr. Inoue.
Note: Session IV will provide an opportunity for participants to conduct a piece they are planning to perform with their own ensemble. This is a chance for a run-through with the Concordia Wind Orchestra and to gain some comments from Dr. Held and Adelle Glass. This will also offer all participants a chance to hear repertoire for young bands. in order to participate as a conductor in this session, please fill out this form.
Parking and Walking: When you arrive to Concordia, Irvine; tell the gate attendant that you are here for the music event in the Borland Manske Center. You will be directed to park in the main lot (free parking), then you will walk down the hill to the Borland Manske Center.
Registration Fee: $40 food is included in the cost
Participants will receive a certificate of completion.
