We invite you and your colleague to join us for an information exchange between the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane Division (NSWC Crane) and the University of Central Florida (UCF). As a result of initial conversations between the Central Florida Tech Grove and NSWC Crane, Crane leadership requested an overview of UCF research, academics, and innovations that are supporting DOD and, especially, in areas of interest to Crane.
This will be an unusual opportunity to hear from UCF leadership and gain an understanding of the strengths, capabilities, and strategic focus areas that directly align with priorities in the DOD.

We invite you also to join us on the afternoon of August 15 for the NSWC Crane Tech Expo. to see prototype demonstrations of four innovations developed and patented by NSWC Crane. These innovations are examples of the rich portfolio of intellectual property available for licensing and collaborative development with Crane. Researchers and other team members from Crane will be on-site and virtual to share information about their technologies and teaming opportunities.
The Central Florida Tech Grove is a hub for accelerating collaboration and innovation in defense modeling, simulation, training, and human performance. Tech Grove is located in the Central Florida Research Park in Orlando, Florida which is the epicenter of the nation's largest cluster of government, industry, academic, and industry organizations developing and delivering training and simulation products for our nation's military. Tech Grove was established in 2020 through a Partnership Intermediary Agreement (PIA) between the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and the University of Central Florida Research Foundation. Seven other Department of Defense entities are Tech Grove members: US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), US Air Force Agency for Modeling & Simulation (AFAMS), US Marine Corps Program Manager for Training Systems (PM TRASYS), US Army Simulation & Training Technology Center (STTC), US Army Futures Command Synthetic Training Environment Cross-Functional Team (STE CFT), US Space Force Space Launch Delta 45 (SLD45), and the Office of Naval Research through the NavalX Central Florida Tech Bridge.
