Hashira Jam

Join us for an evening of rope play at Coil & Cord Studio, featuring on our many new hashira posts!
This post-workshop rope afterparty follows the Keep Me Posted hashira workshop with Samjay & Zero-Gi, but the Hashira Jam is open to anyone - not only workshop attendees.
Although the focus of this jam is hashira ties, all forms of rope play--floor rope, suspension & partial suspension from our overhead hard points, etc.--are also very much allowed & welcome!
Rope jams at Coil & Cord are a space to practice and play with rope bondage/shibari, get inspired by diverse rope styles and approaches, meet other rope enthusiasts, tie and/or be tied!
All levels of rope experience are warmly welcome! This is not an educational event, so some basic rope experience is highly encouraged. Attendees are to play within their skill/experience level and are also welcome to just observe and hang out.
Coil & Cord Studio has numerous hard points (including bamboo, single points, & vertical posts) available for suspension, plus plenty of cozy mats for floor tying.
Attend the jam solo, or with a tying partner--or several! We welcome solo attendees and encourage making connections at the jam.
What to Bring: Please bring rope & a cutting tool if you have them, and any suspension gear you need if you plan to suspend.
Rope is also available for purchase at the event.
