The 2025-26 OCS Season concludes with two performances of Franz Joseph Haydn’s The Creation – a joint anniversary collaboration to celebrate 85 years of the Ottawa Choral Society and 60 years of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra.

Haydn’s The Creation, an oratorio considered a masterpiece of the classical period, is based on a German translation of Milton’s Paradise Lost. The work’s first performance in Vienna in 1799 was a musical sensation and continues to draw audiences to this day. The concert will feature soloists Jacqueline Woodley (soprano), Isaiah Bell (tenor), and Matthew Li (bass).
