Experience a profound afternoon of storytelling, reflection, and connection with IDF veterans visiting Los Angeles en route to Montana with Healing Trails, a wilderness therapy program for veterans coping with emotional, psychological, and physical trauma from October 7th and the ensuing war.

The program will include a
short screening of a documentary film following last year's Healing Trails cohort on their transformative journey as they confront the invisible wounds of PTSD and discover resilience, connection, and healing. 

The short screening will be followed by a panel discussion with this year's group before they continue on to Montana to begin their own week-long Healing Trails experience.

About Healing Trails

Healing Trails is a wilderness therapy program that brings IDF veterans into the remote beauty of mountains to heal and reconnect with themselves. From the mountains of Montana to the wild landscapes of the Republic of Georgia—-a short flight from Israel—participants step far from daily distractions. Guided by psychologists and supported by the power of wild nature and brothers in arms, participants find space to process their experiences and rediscover strength and purpose.

 

About Founder Noam "Nofi" Genet

Noam "Nofi" Genet is the founder and team leader of Healing Trails. After moving to Israel at age 18 and serving as a tank commander, he found healing and inner peace through the wilderness of Montana. Today, he leads Healing Trails with a passion for adventure, nature, and helping veterans reconnect with themselves and discover their own path toward healing.
