Rosemaling Coast to Coast, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized to celebrate the art of Norwegian rosemaling through a national organization that supports and enriches the artistic activities of the individual. Members study, paint, teach, and promote the love of rosemaling. The skillset is broad, from beginners to highly-skilled, award-winning artists. Formed in 2016, the organization began holding biennial conventions to promote, teach and appreciate the folk art of rosemaling. Description
Class description: Paint a Heraldic Lion. Three examples of traditional Heraldic Lions that were seen in early rosemaling will be presented. They can be used as the centerpiece of a bowl, plate or trunk and in class will be painted on a 10" plate.
This class has 3 sessions. Evenings Tuesday October 13, 2026, Thursday October 15, 2026 and Tuesday October 20, 2026. Each session will run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM central time

Medium being used : Louise will demonstrate in Oil and Acrylic Paint.
Participants can paint with oil or acrylic paint.
Surface: 10" plate or other surface of your choice

Note about supplies: The class fee does not include the cost of supplies. This is the responsibility of the student.
Instructor: Louise Bath, VGM
Instructor biography: Louise has been teaching at a local SON Lodge since 2010 and since achieving a VGM in 2017, she has taught for Vesterheim, INRA, CRA and WRA.
Location: This is an online class hosted on Zoom. All technical requirements needed to join the class are the responsibility of the student. RCC virtual classes will be recorded. Class time listed in the Central time zone.
