Topping the bill, former UFC world title challenger and MMA legend Wilson Reis looks to make it two in a row at featherweight, as he takes on fellow UFC veteran Bruno Souza, who returns to MMA after two years competing in professional Karate.
Also making a welcome return to action is CW fan favourite Damon 'The Nomad' Wilson, as he takes on the rugged Brandon Carrillo.
In the evening's co-main event, Roberto 'Green Light' Hernandez heads back up to featherweight, as he welcomes Javier 'El Mariachi' Garcia to the promotion.
In a highly anticipated main event, Karate stylist Bruno Souza (144.8lbs) makes his Cage Warriors debut, taking on a legend of the game in Wilson Reis (145.5lbs).
Making his return to the featherweight division after an unsuccessful title challenge at 135lbs, Roberto ‘Green Light’ Hernandez looked comfortable on the scales at 146lbs. He welcomes Javier ‘El Mariachi’ Garcia (145.9lbs) to the promotion in the co-main event.
Only main card opener Magomed Bayduev failed to hit his mark at the first time of asking, registering a weight of 138lbs even opposite opponent James Settle, who came in on weight at 135.9lbs.
In consultation with the commission, the bout will go ahead, subject to Bayduev weighing no more than 150lbs on the fight day weight check. He will be fined a percentage of his purse.
In a change to the previously announced line-up, Chace Eskam was not cleared by the commission and has been removed from his bout with Ilias Faquiri.
Stepping up at the eleventh hour to face Faquiri is Chris Owen, who will make his professional debut in a 198lbs catchweight contest.
The promotion return stateside after a hugely successful show in Newcastle, which saw Harry Hardwick crowned the new Cage Warriors Featherweight champion, with another stacked card for their beloved San Diego crowd.
In the main event main event, Bruno Souza will pull on the yellow gloves for the first time and will look to instantly make an impact as he takes on former UFC title contender and MMA legend Wilson Reis.
Roberto Hernandez returns to fold and moves back to Featherweight following his failed title challenge against Bantamweight champion Liam Gittins. Much like Reis, Hernandez is extremely well known to the Cage Warriors crowd and will also be welcoming a new face to the promotion in the shape of Javier ‘El Mariachi’ Garcia.
Although failing to make weight, Magomed Bayduev's bout against James settle will still go ahead, providing Bayduev's weighs no more than 150lbs when he has a weight check on fight day. Even if successful, he will still be fined a percentage of his purse.
The last minute change to the card will see Chris Owen step in to face Ilias Faquiri in a catchweight contest, following Chace Eskam not being cleared by the California State Athletic Commission and therefore pulled from the contest.
