Description
A dance film by Nik Fackler presented by KANEKO MOVEMENT and tbd. dance collective. The film, 30 minutes in length, will be followed by a Q + A with the filmmaker and dancers. Filmed in the Spring of 2021, Hidden Places follows the path of a person searching for inspiration, set alongside a visual exploration of the KANEKO building from the outside in.
The Tessellation Gallery option is located on the 2nd floor of the KANEKO building. Audience members may access this space by stairs or elevator. Within this viewing option, the film will be projected on a screen hanging from the ceiling on the east side of the gallery. 60 black folding chairs will be spaced throughout the gallery facing the screen. Guests may also stand on the perimeter if they prefer.
