Agape Farm of Watha, LLC is an agritourism farm located in rural Pender County between Burgaw and Wallace, NC. Established in 2021 as a family farm and in 2023 as a limited liability company. We offer a place to those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a more tranquil setting. A morning or afternoon spent at the farm might include snuggling a baby goat, a rabbit or checking out one of our hairy coos! Which ever farm animal tops your favorite list, chances are you'll find it at Agape Farm of Watha! We'd love to host your next birthday party, family reunion, or corporate event or just come for a farm tour! Our farm is open by appointment with the exception of our open farm days which are typically held in the spring, fall and at Christmas time.

Highland Cow “Coo” on Canvas - A Pet and Paint Event at the Farm
Agape Farm of Watha is pleased to once again host our Pet and Paint Event on the farm for adults. This event is best suited for ages 18 and older. You'll enjoy a unique combination of painting and agritourism, guaranteed to provide a relaxing and fun-filled experience. Bring your significant other or a friend and let's have a fun afternoon on the farm!
Event Overview
Our 'Pet and Paint session at the Farm' is a two part event! Before delving into painting a canvas picture of our charming and oh so debonair model, Scotty, you'll get to meet him up close and snap some fun pics! Along with Scotty, you'll meet Joe, a black Highland steer or “Coo” AND our diva on the farm, Miss Annabelle, our teenage Highland Coo! Once we're finished loving up on the coos, we'll head inside to paint. Your guided paint session will be headed up by Burgaw's very own artist, Cheryl Hardie Holt with Emerge Studio Art! Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner, this event is perfect for you. Unleash your creativity as you paint a canvas picture of a magnificent Highland Coo! With your personalized painting you'll take home a lasting tangible memory of your trip to the farm!
Sip and Enjoy
While you paint, enjoy a cup of hot coffee, hot chocolate or hot apple cider, adding a touch of warmth to a January day. This is a great way to relax, meet new people, and enjoy the tranquil farm environment.
Experience Agritourism
This event is not just about painting and sipping, it's also a chance to experience agritourism. You'll get a glimpse into what agritourism is all about as you enjoy seeing some of the other adorable farm animals and learn about their purpose on the farm.
Don't miss this opportunity to be a part of a unique experience that blends creativity, relaxation, and learning. Make sure to bring a friend along for a memorable 'Pet and Paint Event at the Farm'. Spaces are limited.
