The Sweet Spot was first opened in July '23 by Hillsboro-native, Katie Homa and her husband, Dylan Richter. Our Highland, IL location was opened November '24. We're a family-owned, small town sweet-tooth satisfying destination. What we offer is an extensive selection of candies, treats & drinks but what we provide is a unique & family-friendly experience for the community.
Description
Our Holiday Candy Tasting is our final Candy Tasting Event of the year. Limited, candlelit reserved tables and holiday decor set up throughout the store will create the backdrop to try some of the most popular and unique sweets from each of the major holidays at the end of the year - Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas..
One glass bottle soda is included with each ticket but attendees 21+ are welcome to bring & enjoy their own adult beverages as well. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.
This event will feature 4 courses (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & Holiday Gifts) each including 5 bite-sized tasting samples. There will be a limited edition holiday flavor ice cream sample pallet cleanser served between each round.
There is no age minimum to attend (families welcome & kid's tickets 12 and under are $25) and the event will last approximately 1.5-2 hours.
At the end, participants will have the opportunity to purchase any of the candies sampled or shop in store - all 20% off!
