Come learn the basics of cookie decorating with Maddie Haydon, owner of MaddiesKake Bake Shop. Maddie is a former elementary school teacher turned cookie artist/instructor. She lives in St. Joseph with her husband and 2 year old son and loves all things baking! if there's flour and sugar involved, she's there!
In cookie class you'll learn step by step how to use royal icing to decorate a set of Maddie's signature vanilla cookies.* You'll leave class feeling confident that you can decorate cookies like the pros!
No experience is necessary: This is a decorating class only - no baking will be involved.
Your ticket will include : 6 freshly baked sugar cookies, 4 piping bags of Maddie's fluffy vanilla royal icing (pre-mixed and colored)., Maddie's cookie and icing recipes, and live instruction with all her tips and tricks for making beautiful cookies in a fun and relaxing environment.
Ages 10+ are welcome to attend.
Cookies and icing are prepared in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development, and shares equipment with peanuts with peanuts, nuts, soy and other allergens. Cookies and icing contain eggs, dairy and wheat.
Take Home Kits are available for purchase: Kits will include an identical set of freshly baked cookies and icing ready to decorate at a later time..
