Description
As we approach the incoming Holiday Season, we invite the community to join us in transforming the Smith-McDowell House on Saturday, November 22nd from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday, November 23rd from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.! We will be offering a variety of tasks on the grounds and around the 1840 historic home. Whether you are hanging wreaths, placing poinsettias, or dressing the tree, we can use your help!
Each Work Day will begin at 11:00 a.m. and end no later than 3 p.m.. We will offer snacks and water to all volunteers, however, we do also recommend bringing a bagged lunch if you would like something substantial. Each Volunteer to join us will receive TWO complimentary admission ticket vouchers to visit the museum on any day of normal operations. At 1 p.m., we will invite Volunteers to break and learn more about the Smith-McDowell House and how their volunteer work makes a difference.
