Dr. David Hodgson, founder of Kingdom Initiatives and owner of the Paladin Group of companies, a multi-billion-dollar group of businesses, presents Holistic Capitalism and the principle “All Shall Prosper”: designing economic decisions so that owners, employees, suppliers, communities and even competitors can prosper — replacing zero-sum extraction with systematic caring and sharing across the value chain.
Dr. Sascha Ferber, historian and author of Honesty, Fairness and Corruption in European History and A New Epoch of Enlightenment, shows why honesty, fairness and institutional integrity have been decisive preconditions of lasting prosperity across 2,500 years of European history, and how familiar patterns of extraction and capture reappear when that integrity erodes.
Dr. Arleen Westerhof holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (University of Western Ontario) and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of London before coming to the Netherlands as a research scientist at a multinational corporation. She is Founder and Executive Director of the European Economic Summit and Director of the Rotterdam Center for the Economics of Mutuality, a partnership hosted at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Since 2014 she has convened entrepreneurs, policymakers and scholars around purpose beyond single-bottom-line profit, reciprocal relationships and multi-capital returns — arguing that lasting European prosperity requires changing the system rather than tinkering at the margins.
Dipl.-Ing. Dick Westerhof, civil engineer (TU Delft) and long-standing IT entrepreneur, co-leads By Design in Amsterdam — a European network of businesses, ministries and churches — and serves on the Organising Committee of the European Economic Summit. Drawing on decades of building companies and institutions, he shows how economic activity can be designed so that owners, employees, suppliers and communities prosper together rather than one extracting value from the others.
