Homeschool Days: Fall Field Trips

Description

Learn about pumpkins and corn on days designated to homeschool groups. 

Price is $9 per person with ages 2 and under being free.  -- NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE GATE.  You must have a prepurchase ticket to attend. 
Parents need a ticket as well so we can plan for group sizes and wagon rides.
*all paying admissions will get a pie size pumpkin

*If you have a season pass for the Pumpkin Harvest, email dana@dullstreefarm.com with the email address associated with your season pass and she will send you a code for $2 off the homeschool day admission. 

If you are a homeschool coop and want to be in the same group for the lessons, please email dana@dullstreefarm.com and we will try our best to keep your groups together for the lessons. 

If you purchased a ticket for the 10:30 lesson, you will follow Schedule A. 

Schedule A:
Arrive at 10
Lesson time from 10:30 to 11:30
Playtime and eat your sack lunch from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m.
The farm closes at 1:00 p.m. for a private event. 

If you purchased a ticket for the 11:45 lesson, you will follow Schedule B. 

Schedule B:
Arrive at 10
Playtime and eat your sack lunch from 10:15 to 11:45
Lesson time from 11:45 to 12:45
More playtime from 12:45 to 1:00
The farm closes at 1:00 p.m. for a private event

Lessons:

• Visit the Pumpkin Patch: Take a wagon ride out to our 8-acre pumpkin patch to learn about the life-cycle of a pumpkin and the different characteristics of a pumpkin.
• Explore the Corn Maze: The group will get the opportunity to go through the shorter kids’ maze and learn how corn grows, how corn is harvested, and what products have corn in them.
• Enjoy some Fun on the Farm: You will get the opportunity to go down the tube slide, climb on straw bales, make their way through the Confusion Corral, visit our farm animals, climb our tire mountain and enjoy our playground. *The big slide is not open during the fall homeschool or field trip days.

You can book these individually or as coops.  We will divide groups into group sizes of 25.  If you want your group to be together, we recommend booking together so we can see you have a larger group.
