Honeycrisp Sip & Pick: Golden Hour at Geig's

Join us for Honeycrisp Sip & Pick: Golden Hour at Geig's, a limited evening orchard experience built around one of the most anticipated apples of the season.

This is not a regular apple picking day. It is a slower, cozier fall evening in the orchard where guests can enjoy golden hour among the trees, pick Honeycrisp apples, relax by the bonfires, and experience the orchard in a completely different way.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy live acoustic music, bonfires, orchard photo opportunities, lawn games, and a guided Honeycrisp picking experience.

Each ticket includes:
• Admission to the evening orchard experience
• A guided Honeycrisp picking experience
• 1/2 peck of Honeycrisp apples (approximately 5 pounds)
• One apple cider donut
• Live acoustic music
• Bonfires and lawn games
• Access to the Golden Hour orchard gathering areas

We're also excited to welcome Planted Flag Brewing, one of our longtime local partners. Planted Flag takes Geig's Orchard's award winning apple cider and transforms it into Ohio's #1 rated hard cider. They will be on site throughout the evening serving hard cider available for purchase.

Even better, all proceeds from hard cider sales during the event will benefit Bucky Cares, another valued local partner dedicated to supporting our community. It's a unique opportunity to enjoy hard cider made from the very apples grown here at Geig's Orchard while supporting a great local cause.

A local food truck will be on site throughout the evening with dinner and snack options available for purchase. Additional orchard treats, seasonal favorites, and market items will also be available during the event.

Guests may also choose to add the Date Night Add On during checkout. This limited add on includes one pre prepared charcuterie board designed for two people to share while enjoying the evening. Boards feature a curated selection of local items and orchard favorites and must be reserved in advance while quantities last.

Honeycrisp apples are known for their crisp texture, sweet tart flavor, and limited seasonal availability. Before heading into the orchard, our team will share what makes Honeycrisp special and demonstrate how to pick them carefully to ensure the best fruit makes it home with you.

Whether you're planning a date night, gathering with friends, or simply looking for a memorable way to experience Honeycrisp season, this event offers a relaxed evening centered around great apples, local partnerships, and the beauty of fall in the orchard.

This event takes place outdoors on a working farm. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Guests should expect grass, gravel, uneven ground, natural orchard terrain, and lower light conditions as the evening progresses.

Choosing Your Arrival Time

When purchasing tickets, you'll select a 30 minute arrival window. These arrival times help us spread guests throughout the evening and provide a better Honeycrisp picking experience for everyone.

Your selected time is simply your recommended arrival and picking demonstration time. After checking in and participating in the picking demonstration, you're welcome to stay and enjoy the event for the remainder of the evening. Relax by the bonfires, listen to live music, enjoy food and drinks, explore the orchard, and make the most of a beautiful fall night at Geig's Orchard.

Rain Plan

This event is planned as an outdoor orchard experience and will take place weather permitting. If light rain is expected and orchard conditions remain safe, the event may continue with minor adjustments. If Geig's Orchard must cancel due to severe weather, unsafe orchard conditions, or conditions that would significantly impact the guest experience, guests will be contacted with next steps.
