Share Description
Honk! is a musical comedy adaptation of the 1843 Hans Christian Andersen story "The Ugly Duckling."
The book and lyrics are by Anthony Drewe and music is by George Stiles. The musical is set in the countryside and features Ugly – a cygnet who is mistaken as an ugly duckling upon falling into her mother's nest. Ugly looks quite a bit different from her darling duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite her mother Ida’s protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about herself, the little fowl finds herself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. Along the way, Ugly meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing to be.
In the event the show is cancelled, we will give you the option to have your money refunded. Online ticket sales will end one in half hours before showtime. Any remaining seats can be purchased at the door with cash or check only. Current Covid restrictions require that masks be worn at all time when in the building.
