Founded in 1987, Casa Esperanza is New Mexico's House of Hope and “home away from home” providing a caring community to support families who travel to Albuquerque for cancer treatment, kidney disease, high-risk pregnancy, and other serious medical needs. It is the oldest hospitality house in New Mexico, and the only full-service facility serving both adult and pediatric patients.
Casa Esperanza's provides direct services for low to moderate-income, medically underserved families traveling to Albuquerque for medical treatment. The program provides patients and their families with lodging support, food and transportation assistance, in-house clinical counseling, resources, and referrals to partner service agencies and treatment centers.
