Description

The Young Professionals Choral Collective (YPCC) presents Hopes & Dreams, a choral performance at First Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 12th at 7:30pm. Featuring guest artists from Cincinnati Opera!

The Human Experience: at one moment, it can send us soaring, and the next, bring us to our knees. Music reminds us that this conflict lies first within ourselves, and is won only when we are armed with a renewing commitment to relentlessly Hope and boundlessly Dream. This spring, join YPCC under the creative leadership of Hope Kesling-Milthaler at First Lutheran Church for Hopes & Dreams, a program of artistic evidence of a human theme so pervasive that it connects the words of Edgar Allan Poe and Langston Hughes to the music of Annie Lennox and Aerosmith.

YPCC is excited to have RefugeeConnect join us as our Community Partner. RefugeeConnect’s mission is to connect refugees (people forced to flee their country to escape persecution or war) with resources to rebuild their lives as United States citizens. We are inspired by the pursuit of refugees to achieve their hopes and dreams. We invite our audience members to bring donations of rice and rice cookers, as rice is a staple in many food cultures.

Soloists from the Cincinnati Opera will be featured in the performance.
