Horticultural Therapy Workshop: Healing through Horticultural Therapy
June 8, 8 am-5 pm AND/OR June 9, 8 am-12 pm
Presenters Douglas Airhart Ph.D., HTR, Professor at TTU and Derrick Stowell Ph.D., CTRS, HTR, Adjunct Assistant Professor, UT Knoxville, will offer an overview of horticultural therapy, information on how to start a program, integration with current programming, and accessibility and adaptation for special needs. This workshop is aimed at service providers, therapists, teachers, and any others involved in therapeutic programming. CEUs available for additional fee. Call 901-636-4128 for more information.
