Description
The world is so big, and we are so small. 'Hurricane' explores the feeling of individual powerlessness in the face of huge giant global phenomena. What can I do? What can we do? What can anyone do?
Hurricane is a multimedia performance piece born from an investigation into the effect that preservation has on ephemera. By examining our relationships to technology, desire, temptation, greed, decay, and time; Hurricane investigates the opposing forces of the virtual world vs. the natural world, the individual vs. the collective, and the past/future vs. the present. We move through worlds without shape, shapes without form, words without meaning, music without time.
