The Henry Players were established in 1991. It is completely based on a volunteer basis. The mission of the Henry Players is to provide opportunities for community participation in quality theater productions involving both children and adults.
Description
The Tempest by William Shakespeare is a magical adventure filled with mystery, humor, romance, and unexpected twists. Years after being forced into exile, Prospero lives on a mysterious island with his daughter, Miranda, where magic has given him extraordinary power.
When a powerful storm brings unexpected visitors to the island, old conflicts resurface and new relationships begin to form. With mischievous spirits, comic schemes, young love, and plenty of Shakespearean chaos, The Tempest is an imaginative story about family, forgiveness, and what happens when we finally have the chance to rewrite our own ending.
