At 12 midnight on August 1st 1981 MTV launched with words: ‘Ladies and gentlemen rock and rock’ and then played Video Killed The Radio Star. This show goes out to all of those who rushed home in the early days to view the poetic and artistic videos launched by VJs full of transgression and so much of surrealism’s anarchic force. MTV revolutionized the music industry and popularized the music video format. We dedicate these performances to the Golden Era of MTV! Check out your favorite FDB performers, as well as guest performers from Atlanta, Savannah, Houston, & Philadelphia bringing back the early classics that lit fire to our souls. Feel the nostalgia and witness the scantily clad sensations through the art of the tease. There will be an interesting audience participation game 👀 🌽 🧻 and costume contest with prizes. So make sure to dress in your favorite styles from the 80s and early 90s when fashion was vibrant and eclectic. Sip your favorite cocktails and behold the delights!

Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat) is an intimate 60-100 seat theatre with attached lobby and full service bar that echoes a 19th century cabaret after one too many absinthes. Like it’s namesake, Le Chat Noir exists to produce and present entertainment to the CSRA that was previously not being offered.
