Description

As the house lights go down, a man sitting in his chair plays his favorite record, the cast album of a fictional 1928 musical. The recording comes to life onstage, and The Drowsy Chaperone unfolds before him. Featuring a bride and groom on the eve of their wedding, a well meaning but clumsy best man, a frazzled theatre producer, a dim witted hostess, two gangsters disguised as pastry chefs, a hopeless romantic Don Juan, and a perpetually tipsy chaperone, the show delivers a nonstop evening of comic mayhem and theatrical joy.

I Can Do That! is a female founded non profit offering musical theatre classes, productions, summer camps, and workshops in Danville, CA for kids ages 4-18. We have created an environment where our students learn through curiosity, creativity, and hard work, a place for them to connect with their peers, and to know they are valued for exactly who they are.
