Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
After taking this class you are able to carry concealed on any college campus in Idaho, approximately 38 other states have reciprocity with Idaho, when purchasing firearms there is no need to undergo the NICS background either. Our class meets all Idaho standards; 4hrs classroom followed by live-fire requiring 120rds (98 is the state minimum). We provide all the necessary documentation for you to take to Lt. Wiggins (for Twin Falls County folks)-other counties may have different/additional paperwork you'll need from the respective sheriff dept. liaison. This class is guided by USCCA lesson plans and the legal component is taught by an Idaho POST certified instructor who is also active Law Enforcement.

We will conduct the range portion at the Jerome gun club MVPSA range which we will drive out to together.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.
Range has a $10/person use fee, payable on site at time of class. Applications, Training certs, and the privacy policies are available for registered students at Homestead Tactical. You will need to bring those to Lt. Wiggins after attending class.
