Impact Play Basics with Daddy Wendell

Class Description:

This is a hands-on introduction to impact play; you will spend about half the class time practicing impact with hands and feet, canes and crops, belts and straps, and floggers. If you have impact toys, please bring them. You will not need a partner for the class, if you’re solo you can practice on your forearm / leg. In between demonstrations and drills of technique, we will also discuss negotiation, aftercare, and cleaning.

Minimum props/toys: Two floggers, rattan cane, crop, paddle. 

About the instructor:

Daddy Wendell - Seattle Leather Daddy 2003, NW LeatherSir 2006, author of "Making Leather Gear" and "Beyond Bootblacking: A guide to selecting and caring for leather gear" (both available on amazon.com). DaddyW on Fetlife (pronouns include he/him and the occasional "editorial we") is a writer and educator in the leather scene on the west coast; a San Francisco native, he lives in Los Angeles during the winter and Seattle during the summer.

When do the doors open?
Doors will open at  3:30 PM. Please arrive promptly as we want to start the class on time.

Are there age restrictions on attendance?
Yes, all attendees must be 18 years of age or older to enter 910 WeHo events. Valid government-issued Photo ID will be required for entry. Anyone under 18 found in the venue will be immediately removed.

There are several parking options near our venue:

   • Santa Monica & Kings Road:

2. Street Parking: Available on residential side streets. If you choose this option, please READ ALL SIGNAGE carefully to avoid any penalties.

Accessibility
The ground floor of the venue is accessible. However, please note that the Penthouse/Balcony(3rd Floor) and Mezzanine(2nd Floor) are only accessible via stairs, as there is no elevator in the building.
