Please join IES MSP for a "Implementing CIN/SOO Documentation for Lighting Control Systems" program on Tuesday, November 11 from 4:30-6:30 pm at Lucky's 13 in Roseville The CIN/SOO Documentation for Lighting Control Systems standard was introduced in 2022 to establish best practices for developing lighting control system documentation. This presentation is based primarily on the content of ANSI/IES standard LP-16-22, which the IES introduced in 2022. This standard was created in response to consistent issues caused by a lack of clear communication of project goals, design concepts, and specific instructions for implementation for lighting control systems. We are going to cover the essential What, Who, When, and How of this standard.
This presentation is approved for 1 AIA or CEU.

•WHAT – Describe a Control Intent Narrative (CIN) and Sequence of Operations (SOO)
•WHO – Identify critical stakeholders and communication pathways in the process of implementing a lighting control system design
•WHEN – Develop a delivery timeline for CIN/SOO documents based on project milestones
•HOW – Understand how to use available tools and models to create CIN/SOO documentation
