Want to learn or brush up on some basic  improv skills? Whether your goal is to join the cats on stage, be more comfortable in business meetings, or be slightly less awkward in your daily interactions. Here’s you opportunity to learn with Schrodinger’s Cat, Augusta’s premier improv comedy troupe.

Jason Latimer will be teaching the course with guest lecturers, cameos, unwitting participation by fellow members of the troupe.

Improv 101 topics:
Week 1: Spontaneity
Week 2: Active listening
Week 3: Yes, and...
Week 4: Bold choices
Week 5: Objects and Environment
Week 6: Putting it all together
Week 7: Dress rehearsal and show

Price per person is $120 and includes a ticket to a First Friday XTG performance. Participants are encouraged but not required to perform in week 7.

Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat) is an intimate 60-100 seat theatre with attached lobby and full service bar that echoes a 19th century cabaret after one too many absinthes. Like it’s namesake, Le Chat Noir exists to produce and present entertainment to the CSRA that was previously not being offered.
