"Don't spit into the wind." “Don’t eat yellow snow.” “Don’t tug on Superman’s cape.” “Drive fast, turn left.” We’ve all received sage advice in our lives. Words of Wisdom is a long form improv comedy group that takes those nuggets of knowledge and uncovers the deeper meanings and laughs in them. WOW is Jen Pizzolo, Neiman Araque, Yash Vyas and Bob Craig.
Pictures of Spaghetti is a long-form improv team from Orange County, California that performs the "Usual Suspects" form. They play fast and loose, following what's interesting for as long as it's interesting.
Big Yellow Taxi is the longest running show at the Pack Theater in Los Angeles and features a powerhouse cast of veteran improvisers and Special Guest Drivers each week. Taking the suggestion of a city anywhere in the world, the troupe creates an entire universe of memorable characters inspired by taxi cab “confessions.” Big Yellow Taxi’s unique form was created at the Pack and their shows focus on smart, clever comedy with dark undertones, social commentary, pop culture, emotional poignancy, and bold characters, all within well-balanced sets of fast-paced play and longer scenes that explore deeper themes. The result is a hilarious journey for audiences with unexpected turns and a collision of witty storytelling, theatricality, and schadenfreude.
ImprovCity has been performing professional improvisational comedy shows throughout Southern California (and across the country) for over ten years. Our shows are fast-paced, funny and interactive. We offer both PG-13 (family friendly) and uncensored shows.
ImprovCity shows feature professional improv comedians performing short-form improvised games, scenes and songs in a high energy comedic style. And since the show is improvised, no two shows are ever the same!
