3 on 3 Basketball Tournament - A day filled with 3 on 3 competitions, slam dunks, three-pointers, and non-stop excitement!

Pickleball Tournament - Whether competitive or leisure enter our Father/Daughter, Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, Mother/Son, Uncle/Cousins, Family, Friends, Double, or Solo take to the Court in this extremely popular sports that has taken the definition of 'all-ages sports' to the next level of athleticism!

Cornhole Competition - If you're mastered this over the years or just looking to have some fun, grab your bestie or employee and test your cornhole skills against other teams at one of Summer's favourite BBQ past-time sport.

Indigenous Men's Handgames Tournament: Belonging to over  27 different linguistic groups and founded amoung over 80 Tribes, the Indigenous Handgames and its many variations marks hundreds of  years of tradition, Indigenous cultural significance, healing, connection and entertainment. Join us on the mat, drumming, or cheering on as 24 teams compete in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, Summer Solstice and advancement for their communities.

 

3 Divisions:

Sports Day 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament, Cornhole Competition and Pickleball Tournament will have 3 entertaining entry divisions.

Business / Corporate:

 Not only will you be able to challenge your biggest competitors, make this a teambuilding event to connect employees on a personal level, bring the remote crew back home or the Managers out of the office.  Foster community spirit, gain lucrative brand recognition and acknowledgment in support of Affordable Housing, Diversity, Health and Prostate Cancer Awareness.

Community/Families:

Registration for entry have been reduced thanks to our generous Sponsors, Partners Business/Corporate Participations. Individuals, Extracurricular Teams, Besties, Meetups, Tweens and Teens, Seniors and Adults of All Ages take part in this position.

Not limited to Indigenous Communities, Businesses, Friendship Centres, Organizations and/or Reserves:

Take part and be honoured to watch as we celebrate years of traditions in the month of June  and National Indigenous Peoples Day.  Cheer on your friends, coworkers and new acquaintances as Athletes from neighbouring communities, Reserves, Provinces, Territories and States come together and are invited to compete in all 3 Divisions and  our inaugural Indigenous Handgames Tournament.

Limited Space! At this time we only have room for 24 Teams Nationwide! Due to high demand, teams or participants will be accepted on a First Paid - First Accepted basis with limited space available. A participant or team is not considered registered until payment is received so please complete the payment process ASAP to guarantee a spot in one of our fun and exciting tournaments.

Layout:

This event will take place Outdoors & Indoors centrally in Edmonton

We will have dedicated courts and another 6 temporary courts with ample viewing for all players & visitors.

In the case of inclement weather, there will be indoor back-up facilities in different locations throughout the city.

Registered attendees/team will receive additional participant and team forms.

Cash & Prizes will be awarded to the top teams and each Participants in the Cornhole, Pickleball, 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament gets

Competition Type:

All games will be played Round-Robin with a minimum guarantee of 3 games per team.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament will be categorized by age and gender, 

Pickleball Tournament will be categorized by aged and mixed teams, 

Cornhole Competition will be timed and divided by groups.

Indigenous Men's Handgames Tournament (For Indigenous Communities & Business) team of 6, round robin, best of three. 

Indigenous Men's Handgames Tournament (For any Company/Organization) team of 4-6, round robin, best of three. 

How to Participate:

3 Sports to choose from (pickleball, basketball or cornhole) all for great causes!

Athletes: Register on Simpletix, 24 Teams per division Nationwide! Due to high demand, teams or participants will be accepted on a First Paid - First Accepted basis with limited space available. The Affordable Housing Conference (AHC) marks a new innovation to better serve and represent city centers, urban & rural Indigenous & Black Communities locally, nationally and internationally. Through project creations, conferences, meetings, team building events we create professional meeting points to ensure that key industry challenges and opportunities are addressed in an inclusive, professional and sustainable environment. 

The Affordable Housing Conference is presented by  IDEAS HC. An organization which leads the next wave in accelerating affordable housing and vital community resources infrastructures for Indigenous, Black Communities, Students, Seniors, Women & Children, those at risk of homelessness, the unhouse, underserved population that require need of newer and sustainable buildings to better support the well-being one-self and/or the people in their communities.

Whether working independently or together, our goal is to honour culture & traditions while including new adaptations focused on sustainability and priority that effectively address the needs of the diverse populations we serve by building back better for current & future generations to thrive.
