‘Crossing Canada’
Dutch grammy award winners singer Ineke Vandoorn and guitarist/composer Marc van Vugt will come to Canada in the Fall of 2023 to present their album ‘Crossing Canada’.
The music is a mixture of lyrical, original jazz songs and adventurous, sound orientated improvisations. Add to that the symphonic jazz sounds of Marc’s large ensemble works! The album was recorded live during previous tours playing at festivals, in clubs and at the Canadian Opera Company, collaborating with Canadian musicians and teaching and performing as artist‐in‐residence at Universities in Toronto and Vancouver. The CD Crossing Canada got raving reviews in Europe. Now is the time to bring this music back to Canada!
