Meet the local wildlife and enjoy scenic views of the Bayou on an interpretive guided tour with Park Ranger Bruce and Friends. Learn about the park's history, nature and wildlife while paddling down the bayou! Kayaks, Life Vest, Whistles and Paddles will be provided starting at $40.00 per person or bring your own kayak for $15.00! Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park Interpretive Kayak Tour is a beginner level tour, that will last approximently 2 hours and open to anyone 10 years of age or older.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early at Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park's Kayak area, which is located at the State Parks' Day Use Area. Please no paddle boards or pets, as they are not allowed. Be sure to come prepared with a hat, sunscreen, water bottle, appropriate clothing and a zip-loc bag or other waterproof container that floats to keep any valuables safe.
PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST SIGN THE FRED GANNON ROCKY BAYOU STATE PARK INTERPRETIVE KAYAK TOUR WAIVER BEFORE BEING ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.
