Then Intro to Burlesque with Knotty Orchid is the place for you! These classes are geared for novice as well as intermediate performers looking to get into burlesque or even just wanting to have some of the rhinestone magic for personal use. Join Knotty as she teaches movement and theatre basics to help you invigorate what you already have inside you -- let Knotty help stoke the fires of your confidence!
The prop work series will go over the traditional props of burlesque including fans, boas, and Gloves/Stockings. With these main props you can learn an extended tease for time as well as general techniques that can be translated to other alternative style props!
These classes are built in a series format but can be done in a drop in fashion. You will save a bit of money by buying the package too! Classes are an hour long in the heart of Kansas City. Attire is recommended as comfortable clothes you can move in and leather soled dance shoes to not mess with the flooring in the space!
